the story
He was from Bermuda. She was from Naples, FL. They both attended FIU on different paths. He was pursuing economics. She was interested in going to law school. In 2013, she entered his fraternity’s pageant & caught his attention. A few Facebook messages & international texts later, they knew this was something special. He graduated first. They did the long-distance thing. She finally made the leap to Bermuda in 2019 & the rest is history.
the proposal
It was New Year’s Eve 2021. There was a romantic six-course dinner followed by a rose petal-covered suite at the Loren filled with 100+ photo memories they shared. They reminisced until the clock struck midnight, (“because 1/1/22 sounds cooler than 12/31/21” -Denzel). He gave her a card that remixed Luther Vandross lyrics they sang in the car together & asked if she would be his partner forever.
She (of course) said yes!
it’s official…
the nitty gritty
Join us November 4th, 2023 at a private estate just outside Orlando, FL. There will be lots of love, tears, and of course – drinks on us. If you’re flying in, MCO is the nearest airport to this location. Now here’s the nitty gritty of what you need to know:
ceremony
The ceremony begins promptly at 5:00pm ET, followed by the cocktail hour and reception.
accommodations
A room block has been established at the Aloft Hotel in the heart of downtown Orlando for $219/night.
transportation
Transportation will be provided for travel between the host hotel and ceremony venue on the day of the wedding.
dress code
This is an all-black, black-tie affair. We want you to dress up with us, so this dress code is mandatory for all guests attending.
child-free
We love the kids, but want the parents to have a night off, therefore small humans will not be allowed at this event.
the venue
Our ceremony & reception will be hosted at the stunning Luxmore Grande Estate.
reminder about the host hotel
To lock in our group rate, guests who wish to stay at the host hotel are encouraged to book their rooms by October 3rd or the hotel may not be able to accommodate you.
